Prince Rupert And District Chamber of Commerce joins new Northwest Business initiative to start 2022

The new year has Brought a new initiative towards support for local business across Northwestern British Columbia, with the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce joining other Chambers across the region in the livelovelocal program.

The Chamber locally calling on residents of Prince Rupert to take the Live Love Local pledge and support local business.


As they describe it, the creators of the project are looking at the program as a cultural shift towards rethinking support at the local level.

The LIVE LIVE LOCAL campaign is intended to connect locals, tourists and businesses, all participating with the same common goal. The campaign is designed to culturally shift and rethink how we support local and encourages participants to take in the best of each region while keeping dollars local in each community.

Towards the new initiative, the program offers up five key elements towards building support and increasing the support for local business operators across the northwest.
