Another of the popular field trips offered by Metlakatla Cultural Heritage is planned for Wednesday, August 31st.
With those interested set for a journey of exploration aboard the Northern Monarch, with participants invited to come along for a seven and a half Community Archaeology Field Trip.
Participants will be hopping on and off boats as part of their exploration of Metlakatla heritage, so proper boots and clothing is recommended for the day long program.
The Field Trip is just the latest of a number of initiatives that have been organized by the community, most recently they hosted a pair of workshops of Smoked Fish and Cedar Pulling which were well received.
