The noise and thrills of the midway are back in Prince Rupert with Shooting Star Amusements in the city until Sunday |
The lines were forming early today at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre parking lot, with thrill seekers lining up well before 3 PM this afternoon, all of them ready to take on the range of amusements offered by Shooting Stars Amusements, with the travelling carnival setting up shop overnight for today's opening.
Some familiar rides were at the ready for the growing numbers as the countdown to opening got underway, with the Civic Centre lot featuring many familiar themes from past appearances.
The midway is open through to Sunday, with Sunny skies in the forecast for the entire stay, something that may make for some conversation for the carnival workers, who have seen some crazy weather patterns from their past visits to the North Coast.
