Rogers outage affects some Prince Rupert Cel phone users

The much dreaded "no service' alert is
being found on many Prince Rupert area
Rogers customers phones today

Some North Coast residents who rely on Rogers Cellular phone service woke up disconnected from the world this morning, the Service interruption one which has been noted on the Rogers Website, through their Check your network status program.


While helpful in confirming the service outage, so far there is no indication as to the nature of the outage or when it is anticipated that a return of service will arrive.

Rogers does however have some good news for customers related to a July outage, outlining their response to the July 8th nationwide outage along with the credit that they plan to provide customers.

Update to August 23rd situation:


Full service was restored in Prince Rupert by 2:30 PM
