Showcase of local products and produce set for Seaside Pop Up market on Saturday

The Cow Bay District/Atlin Terminal area will play the host for a Pop-Up market this weekend with ecotrust Canada set to host the Kaien Island Seaside Pop Up Market on Saturday.

The event which takes place at two locations in the District, the Wheelhouse Brewing Company and Hecate Strait Employment Society.

The focus for the four hour event from Noon to 4PM will see the market offer fresh produce from local growers, including the Charles Hays Secondary School greenhouse and Farmer Cam’s Foods from Terrace, and there will be prepared food from Sourdough YPR and Yaga Cafe. 

Patrons are invited to Shop and stay for a while during the event. with a range of entertainment all afternoon planned for the day including live music, food trucks, vendors, and artisans.
