Blog Watching: Week ending November 6, 2022

Housing, Health Care and concerns towards violence towards health care workers, along with our notes exploring some creative social media work for the RCMP all made for some of the five most read items for the week from the blog.

The top item coming from our look at how the local detachment of the RCMP used Social media to alert the public to their search for an individual, only to have the subject of their search join in on the conversation.

Our look at the glacial pace of rubble removal for the Belmont Hotel fire location on Third Avenue West gained a large readership, as did our notes on the progress for the rebirth of the CN Waterfront Station location.

Health care and threats to those who work for Northern Health also made for one of the most read items of the week, as readers explored the background to a recent incident in Prince Rupert.

From the weeks review however, the top item was some engaging work on Social media by the local detachment of the RCMP.
