Prince Rupert Port Authority offers 15 summer positions for post secondary students

The Port or Prince Rupert is on the search for a few good students and for  North Coast students seeking a summer job, applications are now open for employment with the Prince Rupert Port Authority.

On Wednesday the Port outlined some of the background on the 15 summer positions that they have available for post secondary students from the North Coast.

The four month term of employment runs from May 1st to August 31st and applicants are required to have attended a post secondary institution in the last school term and with plans to return to their studies in following academic year.

Among the positions available are those in Operations, Project Development, Maintenance, Public Affairs, Trade Development and Finance.

A wide range of opportunities that cover such options as Boat Crew, to Security, Trade Development and staffing requirements for the Port's Interpretive Centre at Cow Bay, to name a few.
