The start of the year has brought a number of opportunities for residents of Prince Rupert to share their expertise and volunteer some of their time, as the City of Prince Rupert begins the process of recruiting new members to a number of Boards and Societies in the community.
The City is currently looking for volunteer directors for three groups, the Performing Arts Centre Society, the Airport Society and the Board of Variance.
Currently there is One Opening for the Port Edward Historical Society Board, One Opening for Lester Centre of the Arts Society position, with Four openings for the Airport Society and Three positions avail be with the Board of Variance.
Those that are interested in the opportunities are asked to submit their letter of interest by February 29th to the Corporate Administration Office, 2nd Floor City Hall, 424 - 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B. C. V8J 1L7
As well as your letter of interest, applicants are asked to include a written description of the skills and experiences that would be relevant to the position applied for.
