Fashion Tailoring latest to be saluted by Northern Savings

A local fixture of the Prince Rupert commercial scene received some recognition last month as Fashion Tailoring was profiled as the latest Business of the Month.

The popular feature from the Northwest financial institution introduces residents to new and existing businesses and services across the region.

Some of the history of Fashion Tailoring is recounted, from the days of original owner Horne Wong through to the current owner Jin "Kit' Liu.

The store located on Third Avenue West (across from CityWest) has long served the tailoring needs of the community and features a range of suits, shirts and much more, it has also been a stop for many a Graduate or Groom when graduation and wedding day comes a calling.

As part of the business of the month salute, those businesses that are highlighted receive a minimum of two social media posts through the Northern Savings Facebook page, a 100 dollar giveaway certificate for one lucky customer and a coffee break for the staff provided by Northern Savings.

Last month's recipient of the Fashion Tailoring gift certificate was Lori Wilson of Prince Rupert
