Bargains no rarity, at the city's Public Library
The annual clearance of books, DVD's and other materials at the Prince Rupert Library gets underway today, offering sharp eyed North Coasters a chance to pick up some great bargains and help out the local library.
Staff at the Sixth Avenue West book emporium have been going through box after box of donated material from the year so far, and with the help of volunteers will be offering the material for sale from today starting at 10 AM through until September17th.
The money that's taken in over these next ten days will be put to use for a number of initiatives at the library.
While you're there, you can also explore some of the programs and services offered by the popular community gathering spot, among the popular events taking place this fall is the Children's reading program which runs through each week
The end of summer and return to the school year also returns the public library to seven day a week service, with this Sunday making for a return to Sunday openings.
More on the Library and their upcoming programs can be found on the Library website and Facebook page.
