Regional District on search for someone to count the money



North Coast Regional District is looking for someone take leadership of the Financial team with a job posting for Treasurer recently posted to the District's website.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day and long term financial operations of the Regional District.

Eight elements have been highlighted as key for applicants to consider as they prepare their resumes
for submission for the position:

The areas of the North Coast and Haida Gwaii
served by North Coast Regional District
A Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA; CPA, CA; CPA, CGA; CPA, CMA); 

Diploma in Local Government Administration (preferred); 

Five years’ progressively more responsible experience in a finance roll, at a management or senior level; 

Experience in a Regional District (preferred); 

Experience with information systems, especially with municipal accounting software; 

Have a solid working knowledge of CaseWare; 

Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a unionized setting,

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 23rd
