Comedy Night for Kid Sport line up coming together

The list of hopeful stand ups is starting to build, with five names on the billboard so far for Friday night's Laughing for a Cause showcase at the Seal Cove Neighbourhood Pub on the east side of Prince Rupert.

Host Joey Jack has received the confirmations of a quintet of comedic hopefuls working out some material for the night, the five looking to get the laughs of the audience and to help to raise funds for KidSport in Prince Rupert.

The local chapter of the national organization, helps to fund recreation programs for youth in need in the community, reducing or eliminating the cost of participation.

To date there have been 57 kids in Prince Rupert that  have benefited from the program funding since last year.

So far  the line up for Friday night includes four locals

Nathan Randall
Hans Seideman
Tristan Higgison
Jessica Newman

The night will also feature some comedic observations  from Haida Gwaii's  Jana McLeod

The stand ups are just part of a full evening of entertainment which kicks off at 7PM with the Prince Rupert version of the Newly Wed and Nearly Dead game, pitting three couples against each other to see which knows the most about their spouse.

The Stand Ups take the stage for the middle part of the evening, while Mr. Jack brings the show home with his own set to wrap up the night.

If you wish to add your name to the Stand Up list contact Joey Jack at PrinceRupertComedy@gmail.com

Admission to the show is 10 dollars
