The Annual Rotary Christmas Tree Sale is winding down with this weekend the last opportunity to pick up your tree before the last of the trees are gone |
It appears to have been another successful year for selling Christmas Trees for the Prince Rupert Rotary Club, with only a few options of varying sizes still available at the Rotary Lot in the McBride Street Tennis Courts.
The annual sale in aid of Rotary projects in Prince Rupert began on December 8th, and since then Rotarians have seen a steady supply of local residents dropping by to pick out their tree for the Christmas season.
The final few days have hours of 4:30 to 6:30 today
Noon to 6 PM on Saturday
2 to 5 PM on Sunday
All of course dependent on how many trees remain available as the weekend moves forward.
The Christmas Tree Sale is just one of a number of activities that the local service club takes on through the course of the year.
Up next for the Rotarians will be hosting duties for the Annual Polar Bear Swim on New Years Day at Rushbrook Boat Launch.
