City of Prince Rupert asks residents to maintain their "Safe Physical Distance" from city workforce

The City of Prince Rupert is reinforcing its measures on Safety during these times of COVID, with a reminder for residents of the proper amount of 'physical distance' that is required should they come across civic workers in the course of their travels.

The City made use of its Social Media Stream to provide the reminder on Wednesday.

The City's update comes as the community responds to recent reports of COVID in the community, including one notice from SD52 and the other from a retail store in the city.

Last week the City of Prince Rupert introduced a mandatory masks policy for civic operated facilities.

The latest advisories follow the original guidance of earlier this year, when the City reduced access to City Hall and its departments, putting in place a range of measures for the public to take note of.

All of the City's COVID related advisories can be reviewed here.
