The second COVID-19 community clinic came to an end in Prince Rupert last week and once the final vaccination was delivered on June 30th, officials from Northern Health were quick to get the word out on the participation rate of those in the area.

Through their Prince Rupert specific Facebook page, the Health Authority relayed a participation rate of 80 percent for first shots and 60 percent as of the end of the clinic for the second shot of COVID-19 vaccine.

Northern Health also advises that while the community clinic has ended, Prince Rupert and area residents can still receive a COVID vaccination, with weekly opportunities available every Friday from 9AM to 4PM starting on July 9th.

You can learn more about the local weekly vaccination clinic through the Northern Health Unit on Third Avenue West at the Ocean Centre.
