Neither volume of snow, nor dark of morning shall keep the Librarian from their post

Amid the chaos of a wintry Wednesday morning, there was at least one beacon of normalcy to be found in Prince Rupert

A place, where despite the overnight surprise from Mother Nature and the sudden need to find a snow shovel, the Prince Rupert Library opened its doors as scheduled at 10AM with a full day of work underway until  9PM tonight

A handy thing the opening was, with the School District calling studies off for the day owing to the snow and power issues across the city earlier this morning.

So those students who didn't take to the local hills for a bit of rare sledding, had a place to drop into if they felt like wrapping up some work.

While there, perhaps they may have noted a Current Job Opening available at the Sixth West House of Reading, the Prince Rupert Library looking for a student staffer with one position available.
