PRMHA hosting Dawn of the Legends Tournament this weekend at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre

There's lots of PRMHA action to take in this weekend at the Jim,
highlighted by the U7 Dawn of Legends tournament

Sure the Prince Rupert Rampage may have the weekend off, but you can still get your weekend hockey viewing in, with the youngest crop of Rupert hockey players set to show off their skills at the PRMHA's Dawn the Legends Tournament.

The event takes place from today until Sunday and features the rosters of the Under  7 group in the city.

While you take in the action on the ice, you can also try to grab some bragging rights, with tournament organizers offering up the Super Deeker challenge, a skills station where you can show off those current or ancient stick handling moves.

As well they will be featuring a Raffle table where you could pick up some great bargains in aid of the PRMHA program.

The Dawn of Legends schedule has things underway tonight at 5:30PM, with Saturday play picking up from 8AM to 2PM, Sunday they're back on the ice from 845 AM to 3:45 PM

In addition to the on ice plans from the U7 group, some other action is up for your review this weekend as well, as other levels work around the U7 tournament schedule.

Saturday at 2:15PM, It's the U15 Seawolf Rep hockey squad with Kitimat the opposition, the two teams are back to the ice again on Sunday at 7:15 AM for those early birds looking to check out some hockey with their coffee.

The Under 11's have a game set for Saturday at 4:45 PM

And while the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre gets its full use this weekend, the Under 18 Seawolves are in Smithers for two games with matchups set for Saturday and Sunday.

Keep up with the PRMHA through their Social Media stream here, while the schedule of events through the week is accessible here.
