Backcountry enthusiasts are being advise of some considerable risk in Alpine ranges today and for the days ahead with Avalanche Canada noting of the conditions in their most recent bulletin from yesterday.
Their summaries noting of the build up of slabs with accumulated snow and offering advice for those who have plans for outdoor recreational activities over the next few days.
Things have stabilized slightly from earlier yesterday, when part of the Northwest Range had been listed at Stage 4, which notes of very dangerous conditions.
