Approaching rough weather makes for changes to BC Ferries schedule

The prospect of heavy seas and poor weather has BC Ferries
revising service times for the Northern Expedition today

With Storm Warnings in effect for Hecate Strait and Dixon Entrance, BC Ferries is making some adjustments to its schedule to wait out what is expected to be a rough night out on the water.

Environment Canada has issued the Storm Warning for today, tonight and tomorrow calling for winds up to 50 knots overnight before they diminish to 25 knot by Tuesday.

The Marine Forecast heralding a week of rain and wind for the North Coast ahead.
