New online journal looks to tell the stories of the Northwest

There's one more voice now added to the choir of information sharing in Northwest BC as a new online journal has been launched.

The project is one that will mostly focus on the local economy of the Skeena region, the collection set to offer up stories, photos, videos and more on a range of themes of interest across Northwest BC.

Skeena Strong rolled out a wider overview of content in recent days,  offering a mixture of stories and reprinting other items of interest from local media, or bloggers, including the North Coast Review; an arrangement we have accepted in order to share some of the Prince Rupert themes with a wider audience across the Northwest.

(We do hope you continue  to check us out here at the North Coast Review first however, as you look for unique items of note from the region that slip through the gaps of information delivery from local media)

The outline of what the new venture is all about highlights the approach that the new online platform plans to take.

Skeena Strong is a regional media initiative dedicated to promoting the people, the land, and the economy of the Skeena region.

Our mission is to ensure that local information, local knowledge, local events, local talent, and local enterprises are heard, known, and understood by the people who live here, and beyond.

We seek to support the people who make the Skeena Strong.

The online publication had a soft launch over the summer, adding to the volume of stories and contributions over the last few weeks.
