Sunshine greets Prince Rupert Harley Riders as 2020 Toy Run gets underway

It was another good turnout on a perfect day for a ride
as Prince Rupert's Harley Riders gathered at the Salvation
Army at Grenville Court for their start to today's run

The weather was just right for a ride, and with some smoke and the roar of engines, Prince Rupert's Harley Riders and their friends took to the streets of the city this afternoon, hitting the road shortly after 1PM, the group of over 75 riders roaring off towards a number of stops on their map for the day's event.

The annual event celebrating it's 39th year today, helps to provide toys and funding for the Prince Rupert Salvation Army Christmas program. Though this years run has a different look owing to measures required as part of COVID-19.

The Quiet ...

 Before the Roar!!!

The cavalcade of motorcyclists will be travelling around Prince Rupert and area through the afternoon, and motorists and pedestrians should be watchful as they pass by.

Those wishing to donate toys to the run can checkin with Some Shockin' Good at the Save on Parking Lot.

Further background on the annual run can be found from our preview of earlier this week.

You can get some updates on today's run from the Facebook page chronicling the event.
