With a patch of mowing weather here, City of Prince Rupert calls on residents to do their part on boulevard maintenance

After some record breaking wet weather over the summer, Prince Rupert residents have taken advantage of almost week of sunshine for catching up on lawn care and with the sound of lawn mowers working their way through the grass into the evening hours, the City of Prince Rupert has offered up a gentle nudge for an area you may have missed.

In a post to their Facebook page on Thursday, the City reminded homeowners of their responsibility for any boulevard stretches along their properties.

The opportunity to wrap up your lawn work (and the city patch as well) carries through the weekend, but next week brings an end to our burst of summer, with rain expected to return to the North Coast on Sunday.
