Prince Rupert RCMP have an update on their search of Moresby Park last week following the discovery of human remains |
The Police presence in the Moresby Park area of the west side of Prince Rupert is at an end, with the search of the park after the discovery of human remains now concluded.
In an update today, the Prince Rupert RCMP outlined that the park is now open to the public following their work in the area which began last Thursday.

Few details have been released about the discovery of the human remains, with the RCMP noting that the they continue to work with the BC Coroners Service for the purpose of identification of the remains and to identify the cause of death.

At the time of the original advisory of last week, the Prince Rupert detachment stressed that there was no active threat for the public related to the discovery.
