With Sunshine and thirteen degrees, Rupertites take advantage of the lull before the storms

A calm harbour and warm temperatures is greeting Prince Rupert residents today

After a few days of unsettled weather of Monday and Tuesday and another bout of it on the way, residents of the North Coast who could, took advantage of a balmy December morning and afternoon walking trails and watching ships along the waterfront.

With the temperature rising to thirteen degrees by the noon hour, the morning and early afternoon made for a good opportunity to grab some fresh air without having to pull on the rain gear or layer up for an unexpected cold snap.

The brief respite however is set to come to an end this eveing, with another Pacific front setting up to bring more rain and wind to the region through the the next seven days ahead.

You can get updates on the weather as the fronts make their way to the North coast
