Busy day for the Container Terminal with arrivals and departures

The Prince Rupert harbour was at a staging area earlier this morning, as the Northern Jamboree assisted by a tug sat awaiting an opening at the Fairview South Terminal.

The day's roster of ships noting of the arrivals and departures at the DP World terminal today.

Data from the Prince Rupert Port Authority shows that while April had lower results than one year ago, as we head into the summer months, the Year to Date totals for the DP World facility have increased slightly from one year ago.

Residents of the Northwest will get a glimpse of the year so far for the Port and plans for the future, when the PRPA hosts their Annual Public Meeting in June. This years event, will once again be a virtual gathering.

The Port presentation will take place from 5 to 6PM on June 16th.
