COVID Zero eludes Prince Rupert for the week, but Terrace, Haida Gwaii and others reach the Much anticipated mark! New BC CDC data shows NW case counts for the last seven days

Prince Rupert has hovered close to the Zero mark for a couple of weeks now, but with today's results from the BC CDC, the weekly community review has indicated a slight rise in the number of cases reported for the city, with two new reports marking the map for the week of May 9 to 15.

Terrace however, has found success in flattening their curve on the week, with no new cases recorded there, the same for Haida Gwaii and a number of other communities.

The results for the entire region make for  single digits in every community west of Prince George.

Across the remainder of the Northwest, the cases reported from May 9- May 15 were as follows.

Smithers  -- 3
Kitimat -- 2
Nechako -- 1
Bella Coola Valley --1

As mentioned pervious Terrace and Haida Gwaii recorded no new cases this week, likewise Burns Lake, Upper  Skeena, the Central Coast, and  Snow Country-Stikine-Telegraph. all had no cases to report.
