Local residents may want to book mark the Prince Rupert, Make it Home website, which has been providing for the job alerts for both residents of the community and those across Canada who may be looking to chart a new course for new opportunities and a new home.

Last week we noted of some of the contractors preliminary recruitment work, with a special Virtual Job Fair set up for members of the Lax Kw'alaams Band.

The expansion project gained the green light in mid 2020, the work underway now is the first of what is anticipated to be a two stage process which when completed will bring capacity for the Fairview site to 1.8 million TEU's.
