District of Port Edward seeks feedback from Child Care Survey

Port Edward Council is looking to determine if there is a need for a Day Care facility in the District, taking the question to residents by way of a survey currently hosted on their website.

The District plans to use the results of the short online consultation to determine if there is a need to move forward with discussions with local service providers and funding agencies if the interest is there.

Port Edward officials are asking that only those residents with children who require daycare before or after School, as well the District is inviting those who may be planning to move to the community fill out the questionnaire.

The survey features nine questions, among some of the questions, whether residents requite full or part time childcare services, the cultural background of those responding, whether respondents wish for culturally specific daycare, along with an option for those taking part to provide for expanded responses to the initiative.

You can access the survey here.
