With British Columbia now in Phase Three of the provincial restart program, the City of Prince Rupert has announced some changes to operations at the recreation facilities in the community.
The Recreation Department has provided an update though their Social Media platform today that outlines what's ahead as of Monday morning.
One of the more interesting of notes is the relaxation on mask wearing, which the city notes is now in place, but with a suggestion that those attending the Civic Centre continue to use them.
The theme on masks has made for some mixed messaging from the province in recent days since the Phase Three restart was introduced on Tuesday, with Doctor Bonnie Henry noting of the removal of the order, while also recommending that British Columbians continue to wear them.
