Summer Hiring plans underway with application period now open for Positions with the Prince Rupert Port Authority

One of the regions largest employers is now accepting resumes from students for a range of summer positions, with the Prince Rupert Port Authority opening their window of opportunity last month, with a closing date coming up later this month.

The list of 2022 Student Positions features posts in a range of categories that cover off on a number of Port departments and offer a cross section of opportunities for many areas of Port operations.

As part of the process the port reminds the hopeful job seekers that Applicants must be attending school, college or university during the last school term and returning to their studies in the subsequent academic year.

The deadline for applicants to submit their resume and cover letters is March 21st.

Competition for the Port positions is always strong as local youth look to get a foot in the door for the summer, with a prospect of full time employment following their post secondary schooling.
