They are down to the final game, or maybe two for hopeful Terrace fans, to declare a champion for the CIHL, with a chance to host the National COY Cup championship on the horizon for the victor.

The Terrace River Kings and Quesnel Kangaroos will renew acquaintances this weekend at the Terrace ice Arena, with the Kangaroos holding the hot hand and the lead in the three games series, that after a convincing 8-4 victory last weekend in Quesnel.

The first match up was quite a physical affair, which probably indicates the tone ahead for Game Two on Saturday and on Sunday if needed.

As both teams have managed to make it to the end of the marathon of the CIHL playoff run, it's not surprising that they make up the majority of the placements in the top ten scoring leaders board.

And if Terrace is hopping for a rebound this weekend, they will be looking to those among those listings to make their mark on home ice.

If you're in the Terrace area on the weekend, puck drop on Saturday is 7PM, a River King win means a Showdown for it all on Sunday with that one if required scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2PM.

If travel is not in your weekend planing, there may be a live feed for Fans provided for the weekend, follow the Quesnel Kangaroos Facebook page to find out if it develops
