Lester Centre seeks volunteers for season ahead, no update yet on search for new GM

As we return to collective gathering again, the Lester Centre of the Arts, the North Coast's top entertainment venue is looking for volunteers towards their 2022 program.

A Social media post highlights the recent call for volunteers for the Spectrum City Dance Showcase of last weekend and how that call for volunteers will carry forward through the season ahead.

A link to that post provides for the application form for those with an interest in offering some of their time towards the arts in Prince Rupert.

Two events make for the schedule to come in March and April, with a performance from The Wardens  coming up on March 18th, followed by the Snowed In Comedy Tour  on April 20th, the latter a new date from the original show scheduled for earlier this year.

While the schedule continues to build for the Lester Centre, yet to be revealed is if the Lester Centre Board has had any success in filling the vacancy for a new General Manager.

That job opportunity was posted at the end of January.

More notes on the city's Arts scene can be reviewed here.
