Prince Rupert Garden Club makes plans for 2022 gardening season

One of Prince Rupert's most enjoyable of attractions is the
Sunken Gardens just behind the Court House

The weather today may not have us thinking much of planting, but the gardening season is coming up fast and for the members of the Prince Rupert Garden Club that means that time for planting is not that far off now.

When it comes to Prince Rupert's Showcase Garden of the Sunken Gardens the Club is looking for someone to take on some maintenance duties at the popular urban oasis found behind the Prince Rupert Court House, recently providing some notes on what they are looking for in a part time garden maintainer.

Planting at the Sunken Gardens usually takes place in May each year, so keep track of their Social Media feed for the next update and call to the planting stations.

While they lay the groundwork to ensure that the Sunken Gardens gain the right amount of attention this summer, the Club is also making plans for the return of the annual Garden Tour showcase.

The Club recently issued a call for nominations for the tour, with the event tentatively set for Sunday August 7th.

To follow what they have planned ahead for the spring and summer of 2022 follow the Prince Rupert Garden Club through their Facebook stream.
