| Prince Rupert's Jim Ciccone Civic Centre will be home to the 2022 Salmon Festival with preparation for the event now underway |
After some challenging times from COVID, organizers of the popular Salmon Festival in Prince Rupert are moving ahead with plans for a return to the festivities, bringing back the singing, dancing, drumming and many other activities and celebrations after a pause of a few years.
The event to be hosted by the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Dancers will take place at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre on Saturday, May 28th and will mark the 8th edition for the gathering.
