As the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue wraps up Fire Safety month, the City of Prince Rupert has posted a job opportunity to help the cause of keeping residents safe and providing response to calls for service.
The most recent job listing from City Hall is looking to add to the ranks of the 911 Fire Dispatch Office at the First Avenue West Fire Hall.

There's an extensive list of Duties, Responsibilities and Skills and Abilities required for the post, which you can review here.
Those selected to move forward in the competition will appear in front of a panel for an interview and skills testing. As well, applicants will be required to undergo a Criminal Records Check.
The application period closes on November 7th.
You might have a chance to learn more about the Dispatch office as part of this weekend's Open House at the Fire Hall.
