Bachrach calls out Liberals on cost of ArriveCAN Program

The rather expensive cost to the taxpayer for the often controversial ArriveCAN app made for a juicy target for Opposition MP's in Ottawa on Monday, and among those leading the charge against profligate spending was Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bacharach.

The NDP MP used his time in Question Period to take aim at the cost of the app and asking the Government where the money went.

"This government was using this company to shield contractors from accountability and transparency ... Canadians want answers, they deserve to know where their money went"  -- Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach on the ArriveCan App expense

The cost of the app came in at 54 million dollars, estimated as twice the original projection, something which has become the focal point for the Opposition parties.

Through the comments portion of the MP's Facebook page a few of Mr. Bachrach's viewers however, noted that while the cost is of concern, the fact that the NDP has been providing parliamentary support for the current Government is also something that should be considered when it comes to how the Liberals have been governing.
