Coast Guard Testing leading to Training opportunities for Marine Safety posts set for this week

The Prince Rupert Martine Communications and Traffic 
Services station is located at Seal Cove o the city's east side

An opportunity to become part of a Coast Guard team dedicated towards marine safety will be available for North Coast residents this week, with the Marine Communications and Traffic Services program hiring in the Prince Rupert Area.

The local Communication Centre is located at Seal Cove and provides coverage of all of the North Coast and beyond Haida Gwaii.

The search for the next group of professionals starts with aptitude testing set for Coast Mountain  College on Friday October 14th.

Success through the aptitude testing phase of the enrolment process could lead to the training program and eventual posting to the Marine Communications Centre.


The Canadian Coast Guard has prepared a video to introduce would be applicants to the career positions available through their Communications Centres.
