New Jehovah Witness Hall moving along in construction process

The new Jehovah Witness Hall in Prince Rupert is taking shape at the
northern end of the Civic Centre property off of McBride

Those passing by the construction site adjacent to the Prince Rupert Civic Centre have no doubt noticed some significant progress for the new Jehovah Witness Hall, with the framing for the facility and a roof now in place, the latter not a moment too soon with what looks like an extensive period of rain on the way for the region.

The latest success comes following the laying of a foundation earlier this month which is when the pace of the project appears to have quickened quite a bit, with the work sit a bee hive of activity of late.

Here's how the site looked in September as the work on the
new Jehovah Wintess Hall got underway.

The start of the project came in September, that following a land swap and a cash payment between the city and the local congregation as part of the City's plans for the new RCMP detachment at the corner of McBride Street and Third Avenue East, which was the former home for the Jehovah Witnesses in the community.

Some background on the arrangement can be reviewed from our September post.
