Get ready to Swing for the Fences in 2024 with Swingsmith Cages

The old UFAWU hall on Fraser Street is the location for
a new business in town for 2024

A new recreation activity is on the horizon for the downtown area, with Swingsmith Cages launching a bit of a teaser campaign towards their plans for 2024, with the old UFAWU hall on Fraser Street their chosen location for the new business venture.

They haven't shared too many details of what's to come in the New Year.

But once the renovations to the Hall are complete, the Swingsmith Experience will feature a batting cage, Restaurant with Ball Park fare and a pro shop.

Kerrianne Smith outlined her ambitious plan for a new
recreation activity for Prince Rupert in march 2022 to Council

The last notes on the project came well over a year ago, with Swingsmith was giving some thought to seeking out a spot in the City''s leased out Canfisco Warehouse space,  a presentation from Kerianne Smith to Council in March of 2022 highlighted the ambitions that they had at the time.

Since then, they appear to have revised their plans, selecting the downtown location for the launch of their new venture.

If you want more information on their plans, the phone number listed on the Social Media page is 250-206-2255.

Learn more about what's coming as they release more details through their Website and Social media stream.
