Blog Watching: Week ending December 10, 2023

A Special Council session called to move forward with the 2024 Budget process, generated two of our list of five most read stories this week.

That as our look at some final public comment and a focus for consideration by Councillor Barry Cunningham both found a large audience this week.

Also of note for the week was some news from the District of Port Edward, which has concluded its quest for its next Chief Administrative Officer.

Some observations of concern over how the city's appearance is viewed by the cruise public also is of note, that through a story on some findings from a cruise travel blog writer's survey of visitors to Prince Rupert.

The top story of the five on the week however, takes us on the bus with the Prince Rupert Rampage and their successful road work of last weekend when they twice knocked off their competition.

District of Port Edward announces Todd Francis as new CAO -- Three months since the departure of their former CAO Rob Grodecki, the District of Port Edward has filled the post again, turning their attention north to attract the CAO for Stewart to the North Coast.     (posted December  5, 2023
