If you're making a list and checking it twice; Transition House Prince Rupert would like you to check out their wish list as well and lend a hand if you can

As the days start to accelerate towards Christmas Day and the holiday season, the staff of Prince Rupert's North Coast Transition Society are hoping that as they have in years past, that Prince Rupert residents give a thought, or two to those in need in the community.

Something that community has taken on with strong support in the last few years, that as the community continues to weather tough times for many of its residents.

The local Society is looking to help make this Christmas for some of their clients a bit brighter, the staff as hey have in past years have put together a Wish List of the common every day items that many of us take for granted that will make for a helpful holiday project for the Park Avenue based organization.

A recent posting to their Social Media Stream outlined the scope of the need this year in the community and how if you can spare a few items we can help out.

With the Christmas season coming, we have community members asking how they can help.

As we have in the past, our goal is to provide a Christmas bag/stocking for every individual living with us. Between all our housing programs and shelter options, that is 150 women, children, and men.

If anyone is interested in providing for one or more specific individual(s), we can provide details to personalize a package. We have lots of older folks ages 60+ and quite a few young women ages 16 – 25.

The Wish List looks like this for 2023.
