The field of four had brought some tough competition for the North Coast Transition Society Gingerbread House competition, with Transition House, Crow’s Nest Lodge, Crane’s Crossing Shelter and Supportive Housing all putting some pretty impressive creations up for consideration.
But when the voting closed, it was the Crane's Crossing version that gained the largest volume of votes and bragging rights for 2023.
Pizza was on the line in the competition, but the Prince Rupert Port Authority came up with the 'dough' and served up pizza for all four competitors as part of the wrap up to the event.
