Prince Rupert Transit to help get you to the New Year's party and home with extended service December 31

The Prince Rupert Transit Yard on Saskatoon Avenue

They have one more Late Night Shoppers bus to go, next Thursday night and then Prince Rupert Transit will be turning its planning over to running in the early morning hours between New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

The Transit operator has posted their New Year's Eve Schedule to their website, with the Special Ring the New Year service to start between 515 and 545 PM for all our city runs.

Service then continues on the hour with the last run departing around 12:40 to 1:15 AM just after the last of the Auld  lang Syne's have started to fade.

The Full Schedule for New Year's Eve is available here.

At the moment there does not appear to be any plans for a late night service option for Port Edward

Once those buses pull back into the Saskatoon Avenue Yard, the service will be suspended for New Year's Day, with Regular Transit service to take to the streets again on January 2nd.

You can access the latest updates on Service in Prince Rupert and Port Edward here.
