The ongoing challenges of recruiting staff for regional hospitals will have an impact on Haida Gwaii over the holidays.
That as Northern Health advising of a Service interruption for Emergency Department at the Masset location of Northern Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Centre.
The advisory this week notes that The NHGH Emergency Department will be unavailable beginning at 7:00 am December 21 through 7:00 am December 25.
Patients requiring emergency or urgent care will be redirected to Haida Gwaii Hospital & Health Centre in Daajing Giids.
