When it comes to giving back to community, the Fire Fighters of the First Avenue West Fire Hall keep answering the call.
Earlier this week we noted their help towards the Prince Rupert RCMP's Cram a Cruiser campaign, the member of the PRFD crossing over First West with some groceries and other items to add to the day's contributions .
Tuesday, the members of the PRFD also shared word of their recent donation to the British Columbia Fire Fighters Association Burn Fund program, a 5,000 dollar donation that is put towards a range of initiatives.
The money raised for the Burn Fund and other local programs comes through events hosted by the Fire Fighters through the year.
