Lax Kw'alaams continues with Holiday Celebrations this weekend and next week

Members of the Lax Kw'alaams Band have already commenced with their celebration for the upcoming Holiday season.

A schedule of events for four locations mark the annual observances, the first of which took place in Prince Rupert on Wednesday at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.

The Lax Kw'alaams Social Media stream offering up a gallery of photos for fun that was had at the Prince Rupert event.

The festival of celebrations continues this weekend in Terrace on the 10th,  along with a Vancouver event set for the 15th.

One night later, the Council brings the Festive occasions to the home community with a December 16h event set for the Reginald Sampson Gymnasium.


Locally, Lax Kw'alaams is also hosting a Truth and Reconciliation event on Saturday at the Carving Shed adjacent to the Prince Rupert Court House.  

That event starts at 10:30 and continues through the day until concluding at 5PM.
