Search and Rescue Group hosting information session Tomorrow evening

The work of the Prince Rupert Ground Search and Rescue has been in the news a fair bit over the last three months, with a number of high profile rescues highlighting the work that the all volunteer group does across the North West.

Tomorrow night, the group is holding an information session at the Port Interpretive Centre in the Atlin Terminal building on Cow Bay Road.

It's a chance for residents of the region to meet the current team, learn more about the work that they do on the North Coast and ask any questions you may have when it comes to the amount of training, funding and other topics of interest related to their organization.

The Sunday evening session is scheduled to start at 7:30

You can learn a bit about some of their recent work from their Facebook page as well as from the entries on our Northwest Emergency Services archive page here.
