Second temblor of the week rumbles off of Vancouver Island

A follow up seismic event to
last Saturday was noted off
Vancouver Island this morning
Another shift of the plates off the coast of Vancouver Island was recorded this morning, with reports of a 4.2 magnitude earthquake noted at 6:24 this morning.

The seismic event took place 201 kilometres West of Port Hardy, at a depth of 10 kilometres, it was centred in much the same location as a similar sized event of Saturday.

There have been no reports to this point from any communities on Northern Vancouver Island as to if anyone noticed the event on land.
