The Prince Rupert Special Events Society which watches over the delivery of the Seafest celebrations has posted this years schedule to their website and Facebook page, providing the comprehensive guide to events and where to find them.
Music, Sports events, skills competition, the Parade, Sailpast and Fireworks make up just a few of the things to take in during the 2017 Prince Rupert Seafest Celebrations from June 9-11.
Celebrating Canada 150 is the theme for this year's event, the thirty ninth edition of the Community Festival that takes over the downtown core on Saturday and put the focus on the waterfront on Sunday.

A number of events mark the Friday calendar easing us into a pair of hectic days as we work our way through the events of Saturday and Sunday
The weekend will get off to lively start with the Music at Mariner's Outdoor concert at the City's Mariner's Park, the Friday evening show which starts at 7PM it features a collection of popular local artists who will set the musical tone for the three days of festivities
