Trading Coast Conference to offer business info and networking opportunities

The Market Place offices of Hecate Strait Business Development will be the host
of a Tuesday evening workshop and conference on business development

A project put together by three of Prince Rupert's community based business advocates will offer up a range of workshops and information sessions set for tomorrow at the Hecate Strait Employment Development Society at 125 Market Place.

Hecate Strait, along with Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest and Ecotrust Canada's Prince Rupert office have put together and expansive agenda for Tuesday's three hour event, which will run from 6 to 9 PM.

The evening's conference registration runs from 530 to 545 PM with the welcome and introductions set to take participants to 6PM.



From that point it's down to business with a wide variety of workshops, presentations and discussion sessions planned.

6 to 7:30 -- Solution Station
6 to 730 -- Small Biz Start Up info and Networking
6:30 to 8PM -- Get Set up on Social Media

6 to 6:30 -- Social Media Marketing
630 to 7PM -- Great Service to Make that Sale

6:30 to 7:30 -- Top Notch Displays
Richard Haley, Christy Paquet, Lucy Pribas

7:30 to 8:45 -- Build Your Business

Participants also had the opportunity to sign up  and Pre Register for the course of What's your Signage.

50 spots were made available to would be participants for tomorrow nights event, with those taking part also to be involved in the Trading Coast Market showcase set for September 22nd, a Cruise Ship Day in Prince Rupert, which will offer participants the chance to display their products for the 450 disembarking passengers of the Seabourn Sojourn.
